Larry T. Pretlow II, a defeated 2010 ANC Candidate and soon-to-be Highly-Publicized Candidate for another public office this year, prepares to share his journey with the general public with his new Web and TV Show "PRETLOW on the Rise", aside from his forthcoming album and book.

Today the first episode of the pilot season (which will only take place on the Web) entitled "Pretlow 4 ANC: Caught On Tape" highlights the infamous event in which ANC Commissioner Mary J. Cuthbert used a Racial Epithet to describe Pretlow during the 2010 Election Season. Pretlow speaks on the use of the "N-Word" and also allows a very "contradicting" video to be aired in the show. The show closes with an "Off the Record" segment in which a "humorous" or "unrelated" but "mindful" clip is shared.

"DAMN (4 the Record)" is the theme song for the show. Written and Performed by Pretlow under his professional stage name "LaPret" - the song features vocals from his former ANC Campaign Manager and JACKSON PRETLOW co-founder DaMar A. Jackson. It touches on Pretlow being "misunderstood" and "judged" for everything that he does. The show opener is comprised of many different photos of Pretlow in both personal and professional aspects of his life as an uncle, brother, son, friend, rapper, actor, volunteer, candidate, NYRA-DC President, mentor and more...

The Web Edition of "PRETLOW on the Rise" is very different - by means of editing and content - from what will be aired in the TV Edition. To Pretlow's advantage the web show is considered to be "raw", "personal" and "as real as it gets".

"We want you to see that I know what's being said and who says it, and I want you to see that I care somewhat, but to a great extent I can care less as long as I'm happy with myself, making good progress and you don't bring the nonsense to my face" - Pretlow stated.

Pretlow further stated that the show is to be taken "seriously" and not as a "publicity gimmick":

"This show isn't about getting famous or building a reputation. Been there already! It's for anyone who gives a damn or is running their mouth - to hear and see from the horse’s mouth what I had to say about a certain thing or how I felt in a certain environment or at a specific time in my life, in my journey." - Pretlow said.

Don't worry, just because you see Pretlow coming doesn't mean that you'll be recorded. Pretlow has made it very clear that all of his life will not be shared. He stated:

"All of my life is not for the world to see and it never will be. We're just showing my "reaction" to things that take place. The cameras will not be rolling 24/7 or constantly on my ass, but there will be some agreed upon times in which we may get some footage from a meeting, an event or just me being me and whatever happens, happens and it will be aired on the web show only."

The official TV premiere of the show is set to happen much later this year and until then no further information is to be released in regards to the official "cable" network that will air PRETLOW on the Rise. The TV Edition will feature Pretlow beyond the D.C. arena on a national scale. Including the production and promotion of his album, book and campaigning.
