Government Involvement
The 8C03 community, as well as Ward 8 overall, strongly needs more transparent and 'fitting' government involvement, through services rendered. Although, the ANC is not permitted to duplicate services already rendered by the government, that will not be an excused for myself as Commissioner not to help residents utilize those services to a maximum in order for there needs to be met.
When these services have proven not to meet the needs of residents who have first taken full advantage of them, I will work with the community, those residents, local resources and fellow elected officials in Ward 8 - to develop services that cater specifically to those needs that were not previously met by ongoing government services, that were seemingly intended to do so.
